Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst – Finance Product to drive the design, enhancement, and implementation of financial software solutions. This role involves working closely with finance, product, and technology teams to define business requirements, optimize processes, and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong finance domain expertise, analytical skills, and experience with financial software products.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Functional
Leadership
:
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for financial systems.
Work closely with stakeholders, business users, and external clients to understand their needs.
Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams, ensuring alignment.
Conduct system demonstrations and training sessions for end users.
Technical Oversight & Solution Design:
Work with Oracle PLSQL or JAVA to analyze and validate financial data, support reporting, and assist development teams.
Collaborate with developers to design scalable and efficient solutions.
Ensure technical solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
Project & Team Management:
Follow project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
Oversee development processes, ensuring adherence to Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Identify and resolve technical and functional challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in a techno-functional role within the finance or insurance industry.
Bachelor (or) master’s degree (Preferred a degree in Finance)
Strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
Proficiency in PLSQL / Java for data analysis and reporting.
Strong business analyst
Experience working with developers, business users, and external clients.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies for project execution.
Proven ability to manage project timelines and deliverables.
Preferred Certifications:
Any certifications related to Finance
