About the Company:
We are a leading supplier of high-quality lighting solutions (including commercial, industrial, and residential LED products) operating out of a prominent Dubai Freezone. Leveraging Dubai’s strategic position as a global logistics hub, we specialize in the re-export of premium lighting products to fast-growing markets across Africa. We are looking for a results-driven hunter to expand our footprint and manage key accounts within the African continent.

The Role:
We are seeking a seasoned B2B Sales Executive with a proven track record in the African market. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and navigating the complexities of re-export trade from the UAE to various African nations. This role requires a blend of strategic selling, operational knowledge of freezone logistics, and a deep cultural understanding of African business practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Proactively hunt for new B2B clients (distributors, contractors, and wholesalers) across key African territories (e.g., Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, DRC, or South Africa).
  • Client Relationship Management: Leverage your existing network of high-level contacts in Africa to secure long-term contracts and repeat orders.
  • Re-Export Logistics: Utilize your understanding of Dubai Freezone regulations to structure cost-effective deals, manage documentation, and coordinate the re-export process to African ports.
  • Product Strategy: Present and sell our portfolio of lighting products, adapting proposals to meet the specific voltage, durability, and pricing requirements of the African market.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, currency fluctuations, and import regulations in target African countries to advise the company on pricing and strategy.
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-3 years of experience in logistics, customs clearance, or operations, specifically within a Dubai Free Zone .
  • Strong, demonstrable knowledge of Dubai Customs procedures, Mirsal II system, and Free Zone regulations (e.g., JAFZA, DAFZA) .
  • In-depth understanding of re-export, transit, and temporary admission procedures .
  • Experience with import/export documentation and HS tariff codes .
  • Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of proven B2B sales experience, specifically within the African market (Essential).
  • Network: Must possess an existing network of active buyers or decision-makers in the African construction, electrical, or wholesale sectors.
  • Logistics Acumen: Solid understanding of Dubai Freezone operations, including customs clearance, Certificate of Origin, and re-export procedures.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to African countries for client meetings and trade exhibitions as required.
