Job Summary
We are a well-established automotive repair shop seeking a highly experienced Auto Mechanic to join our team. This position is suited for a skilled professional who has hands-on experience working with multiple vehicle makes and models in a fast-paced workshop environment.
The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, diagnose issues accurately, and deliver high-quality repairs while maintaining efficiency and professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues across a wide range of vehicle makes and models
- Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension, braking systems, and AC systems
- Carry out routine maintenance (oil changes, filters, brake service, etc.)
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults accurately
- Inspect vehicles and provide clear repair recommendations
- Work closely with service advisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely job completion
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop safety
- Keep tools and equipment in proper working condition
- Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail
- Follow workshop procedures, safety standards, and operational guidelines
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic
- Proven experience working on multiple vehicle brands and models
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic understanding of workshop documentation and job tracking
- Valid driving license (preferred)
