Senior Authority Liaison Architect (Architect of Record – AOR)
Location: Business Bay, Dubai, UAE
EDMAC Engineering Consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Authority Liaison Architect (Architect of Record – AOR) to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will lead authority submissions, regulatory approvals, and Architect of Record (AOR) responsibilities while ensuring full compliance with UAE regulations and supporting the successful delivery of projects.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
- 8–10 years of UAE experience in Authority Liaison and Architect of Record (AOR).
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and approval procedures, particularly Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Development Authority (DDA), Trakhees, and other relevant authorities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Proven experience managing authority submissions, permits, approvals, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Arabic speaker is preferred.
- Available to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage authority submissions, approvals, permits, and NOCs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with government authorities, utility providers, and regulatory bodies to obtain all required approvals.
- Ensure design submissions comply with UAE regulations, building codes, and authority requirements.
- Represent the company in authority meetings and technical coordination sessions.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, BIM teams, and consultants to achieve timely approvals.
- Monitor approval progress, address authority comments, and mitigate regulatory risks.
- Maintain accurate records of submissions, approvals, and correspondence, providing regular updates to management.
- Support continuous improvement by adopting digital tools and AI-enabled solutions within the AOR function.
- Stay up to date with authority regulations and industry best practices.
