A boutique disputes practice established in the UAE in 2009, with a track record before the DIFC Courts and in international arbitration under DIAC, LCIA and ICC Rules (including DIAC-administered arbitrations seated in the DIFC), invites applications for one appointment at 5 years’ PQE.
The role will focus on DIFC Courts litigation and international commercial arbitration.
Minimum criteria (strictly applied):
– 5 years’ post-qualification experience gained at a top-tier law firm in the UAE or the United Kingdom; or equivalent experience as a junior barrister of the Bar of England and Wales currently resident in the UAE.
– A law degree from a leading university in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia or Canada.
– Demonstrable contentious experience, ideally before the DIFC Courts or the English Courts, and/or in international commercial arbitration.
– Currently based in the UAE, or with a firm commitment to relocate. This is a local hire; applications from candidates outside the UAE who are not prepared to relocate will not be considered.
