Senior Asset Manager- Hospitality Jobs in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE/Dubai at James Douglas Middle East
A well established real estate and hospitality investment group in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager, Asset Management (Hospitality) to join its growing hospitality portfolio. This role sits close to the Executive Committee and is responsible for maximizing asset value across a portfolio of internationally branded hotels and a golf course asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze hotel operations, business plans, capital investments, and strategic alternatives using industry benchmarking, financial analysis, and computer modeling
- Formulate and present recommendations to the Executive Committee on short and long-term strategic plans for hotel assets
- Monitor market trends affecting the hospitality industry and the specific markets in which assets are located
- Examine and monitor operating performance of assets to ensure return on investment is maximized
- Review monthly and quarterly operating performance, annual business plans, and long-term strategic plans with hotel executive teams
- Work with hotel teams and third‑party technical consultants to execute and monitor capital plans
- Prepare investment summaries and recommendations for major hotel expenditures
- Track return on investment for assets and profit‑improvement projects
- Identify value enhancement opportunities within the portfolio
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the Executive Committee
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality; MBA in Finance preferred
- 8-10 years of experience in hospitality, including 3-5 years as an asset manager managing a multi‑property portfolio
- Experience preparing portfolio budgets and strategies
- Experience working directly with senior management and board members
- Experience with capital projects and investments
- Hotel finance or operational experience is an advantage
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- GCC experience required; candidates should be based in or willing to relocate to Ras Al Khaimah
