Job Summary:
The Senior Architectural Engineer will be responsible for overseeing architectural works on site, reviewing Shop Drawings and Material Submittals, ensuring compliance with approved designs and Saudi Building Code, and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and MEP teams to resolve technical issues throughout the construction phase.
Responsibilities are not limited to:
- Review architectural drawings and ensure compliance with approved design and project specifications.
- Coordinate with Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical teams.
- Supervise architectural works and finishing activities on site.
- Review and approve Shop Drawings and Material Submittals.
- Resolve architectural and finishing issues during construction.
- Attend coordination meetings with consultants and contractors.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve any RFI during construction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 9 years of experience in architectural engineering.
- Degree in Architecture Engineering Technology or a related discipline
- Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Strong coordination skills with consultants, contractors, and project management.
- Ability to solve architectural and finishing issues on site.
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Aconex is an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Experience in residential projects, villa compounds, or large housing developments.
