Senior Architect Jobs in Dubai at MOMA International Design

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and contributing to the smooth functioning of our financial operations. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual capable of delivering timely financial reports, managing tax filings, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and tax regulations, particularly VAT and Corporate Tax.

Key Responsibilities:

VAT & Corporate Tax Compliance:
Ensure that financial transactions comply with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
Prepare, validate, and submit timely VAT and corporate tax returns, supporting schedules, and any required documentation or responses to the Federal Tax Authority.
Take necessary steps to obtain refunds if there is a tax credit exceeding tax payables or to settle any tax liabilities as per the returns.
UAE Taxation Mechanism & Policies:
Implement UAE taxation principles, policies, and processes across the organization to ensure compliance.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations such as UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
Financial Record Management & Reporting:
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of the organization’s financial statements with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Record, manage, and track all accounting transactions with attention to detail and no discrepancies.
Familiarity with Zoho Books is essential for managing and tracking accounting transactions.
Reconciliation & Cash Management:
Perform regular reconciliation of receipts, payments, and bank transactions to ensure accuracy.
Manage cash flow effectively to ensure liquidity and financial health.
Employee Payment Management:
Oversee employee-related payments, including WPS (Wages Protection System), pension, and gratuity.
Financial Planning & Budgeting:
Prepare and manage budget forecasts to support financial goals and decision-making.
Assist in preparing management information system (MIS) reports for internal stakeholders.
Financial Statement Preparation & Closings:
Prepare and publish financial statements in a timely manner.
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Management:
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable regularly, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Audit Support:
Assist with the annual audit of financial statements, providing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries for audit completion.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated with changes in UAE financial regulations and tax laws to ensure ongoing compliance and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role, with a strong understanding of VAT and UAE tax regulations.
Familiarity with Zoho Books or similar accounting software is a must.
Solid understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
Knowledge of UAE taxation principles, including VAT and Corporate Tax.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience:

UAE experience in Accounting required !!!

Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
