We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accounting Professional to join our dynamic team at SENIOR SPIRIT OF ROSELLE PARK, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our fixed asset management strategy.
This critical role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of our fixed assets, from acquisition and tracking to depreciation and disposal. As a senior professional, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimization of asset utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the acquisition, tracking, depreciation, and disposal of fixed assets.
Conduct regular physical audits and reconcile fixed asset records for accuracy and completeness.
Develop and maintain detailed asset registers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
Monitor capital expenditures and ensure proper classification and capitalization of assets.
Prepare and analyze financial reports and schedules related to fixed assets.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in fixed asset accounting.
