Senior Receivable Accountant – UAE
Location: Al Qusais , Dubai

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Receivable Accountant to manage the Accounts Receivable function and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in receivables management, customer account reconciliation, credit control, and financial reporting within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the complete Accounts Receivable cycle.
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain customer account reconciliations.
- Process and record customer receipts, credit notes, and adjustments.
- Review customer credit limits and support credit control activities.
- Generate aging reports and provide regular updates on collection status.
- Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to resolve payment-related issues.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to receivables.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and UAE regulations.
- Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Identify opportunities to improve receivable processes and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Minimum 5–7 years of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and receivables management.
- Experience in credit control and collection processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in contracting, construction, real estate, or group company environments.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT requirements.
- Experience handling high-volume customer accounts and collections.
- Native Hindi Speaker Preferred
