Qatar (Candidates must currently reside in Qatar and be available immediately).
Role Overview
The company is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee accurate financial reporting, manufacturing cost control, and compliance, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Accounting:
Manage full-cycle accounting, including month-end/year-end closes, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and journal entries. - Reporting & Costing:
Prepare financial statements and conduct manufacturing cost analyses (COGS, inventory valuation, and fixed assets). - Compliance & Audit:
Ensure strict compliance with Qatar’s local tax laws and regulations; coordinate with internal and external auditors. - System Optimization:
Utilize advanced ERP systems to streamline and automate daily financial workflows.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience:
4 to 7 years in accounting.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Technical
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, MS Dynamics).
- Languages:
Fluent in both Arabic and English.
