Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong background in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, general ledger activities, budgeting, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and healthcare regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent is mandatory.
- 5–8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the healthcare industry (hospital, clinic, medical centre, or healthcare group).
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger and account reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and healthcare regulations.
- Assist with audits and tax filings.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance.
- Support management with financial reports and recommendations.
