The Role
As a Senior Accountant at Medical Master SA, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial health. You will go beyond traditional bookkeeping to provide the analysis and oversight necessary to support our expanding medical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all reports are prepared in strict accordance with IFRS.
- Healthcare Accounting: Manage specialized medical billing reconciliations, insurance claim tracking, and pharmaceutical inventory accounting.
- Tax & Compliance: Lead the preparation and filing of VAT and ensure full compliance with Qatar’s Corporate Income Tax (CIT) regulations.
- Cost Analysis: Monitor operational costs across medical departments, identifying trends and opportunities for efficiency.
- Audit Readiness: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure transparent and seamless financial audits.
- Cash Flow Management: Supervise daily bank reconciliations and manage liquid assets to ensure uninterrupted medical supply chains.
Who You Are
- Qualified: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Possession of a CPA, ACCA, or CMA is highly preferred.
- Industry Seasoned: 5+ years of professional accounting experience. Prior experience in a hospital or medical clinical setting is a major advantage.
- Local Knowledge: Solid understanding of Qatar’s Labor Law and financial landscape.
- Software Expert: Highly proficient in ERP systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or specialized healthcare HIS) and advanced Excel.
- Meticulous: You have an "eagle eye" for detail and a zero-tolerance policy for inaccuracies.
- Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
