Senior
Accountantbased in ABU DHABIwhowill be responsibleforensuring overseeing and executing monthend closing proceduresensuring accurate financial reporting and conducting auditpreparation. This position requires a detailoriented individualwith strong accounting knowledge and the ability to workcollaboratively with internal teams and externalauditors.
Review journal entries and ensureproper allocation of expenses andrevenue.
Perform accountreconciliation and investigatediscrepancies.
Conduct varianceanalysis and provide explanations for financialfluctuations.
Support thepreparation of budgets andforecasts
Conduct preparation forexternal audits. Providenecessary documentation and support to auditors during auditreviews.
Respond to auditorqueries and ensure compliance with accounting standards andregulations.
Ensure compliancewith relevant financial regulations (e.g. VAT taxfilings).Monitor and enforceinternal controls to ensure accurate financialreporting.
Collaborate with otherdepartments to ensure accurate financial data is provided fordecisionmaking.
Requirements Tobe considered for the role you need to posses below criteria:
Bachelor sdegree in accounting or finance. CPApreferable
Minimumof 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting orfinance
Strongknowledge of accounting principles (IFRSGAAP).Proficientin accounting software (preferably Oracle) and MSExcel
Experiencein monthend closing and audit preparation processes.
Excellent
attention to detail
and organizationalskills.
Stronganalytical and problemsolvingabilities.
Goodcommunication skills and ability to work underpressure.
Willingto work onsite and to be based in Abu Dhabi.
