Position Overview

We are hiring a Senior Accountant to support full-cycle accounting and financial operations for a multi-entity U.S. business group with thriving ventures in lending, real estate, apparel, and other high-growth sectors. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute both tactically and strategically — handling core accounting responsibilities while growing into a leadership position involving budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

You’ll collaborate directly with the client’s executive leadership, including the Managing Partner, gaining high-level visibility and the chance to make a significant impact across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close

Oversee accounting and financial reporting for multiple business entities

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and cash flow reports

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis

Support operational planning and process improvement initiatives

Collaborate with executive leadership to provide strategic financial insights

Ensure compliance with internal policies and U.S. accounting standards (GAAP)

Identify opportunities for automation and enhanced reporting efficiency

Qualifications

Fluent English (verbal and written) with professional communication skills

5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards

Analytical mindset with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines

Team-oriented with a positive attitude and openness to coaching and feedback

Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and adaptability

Availability to work U.S. Eastern Time Zone hours (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM local time, Mon–Fri)
