Ma’aden Barrick Copper Company is seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join and grow our Finance team at the Jabal Sayid site.

Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and management reports
Ensure compliance with Saudi statutory regulations and Barrick accounting policies
Maintain oversight of site-level forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
Oversee daily accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and balance sheet reconciliations
Manage and enhance SAP systems performance and data integrity
Collaborate with auditors, banks, and vendors to support financial processes
Mentor and support junior finance staff and contribute to talent development
Provide financial coverage and leadership in the absence of the Finance Superintendent
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred)
Experience and Skills Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years in accounting, including 5 years in a supervisory role
Strong experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills
In-depth knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
Experience in mining, construction, or heavy industrial sectors is an asset
High attention to detail, strong organizational and leadership skills
Fluent in English
