Title: Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file monthly and quarterly VAT returns in accordance with ZATCA regulations.
Ensure timely and accurate VAT payments and handle related reconciliations.
Monitor changes in Saudi VAT law and implement necessary updates to internal processes.
Maintain proper documentation and records to support VAT filings and audits.
Review contracts, invoices, and transactions for correct VAT application.
Manage and reconcile VAT control accounts in the general ledger.
Support annual audits and address VAT-related queries from auditors and tax authorities.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Supervise and guide junior accounting team members.
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years focused on VAT in Saudi Arabia.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
