Widian, a luxury perfume brand based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in financial management, UAE tax regulations, and industry-specific accounting practices.
The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE Corporate Tax laws, and supporting financial reporting processes within a fast-paced luxury goods environment. Experience in the perfumery or similar retail/luxury sector will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review sales invoices and financial statements.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax and FTA regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights for management decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth financial operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax regulations and FTA compliance.
- Experience in managing sales invoices and financial reporting.
- Prior experience in the perfumery or luxury retail industry is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.
- Strong knowledge of:
- UAE Corporate Tax Laws and FTA Compliance
- Financial Reporting, Invoicing, and Reconciliation Processes
- Accounting Systems and Excel-Based Reporting
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Related Field
