As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with UAE accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Handle UAE VAT calculations, filings, and ensure compliance with FTA regulations.
- Process payroll, WPS, employee reimbursements, and end-of-service benefits.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare financial forecasts and budgets.
- Handle developer commission reconciliations and brokerage accounting.
- Maintain client accounts and reconcile receivables and payables.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping across all financial transactions.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial and company information.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Mandatory experience in UAE Real Estate Accounting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance.
- Experience working with a UAE real estate brokerage or developer is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally, Odoo, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
