Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of UAE accounting experience and be capable of independently handling the full accounting cycle up to finalization of accounts. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, financial reporting, cash flow management, depreciation accounting, costing, and be highly proficient in Tally software.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Handle complete accounting functions up to finalization of accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations, supplier reconciliations, and customer account reconciliations.
- Prepare and file UAE VAT returns accurately and on time.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Calculate and record depreciation of fixed assets.
- Prepare costing reports and analyze product/project costs.
- Assist management in financial analysis and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with UAE laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with auditors and support external and internal audit processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Strong experience in handling accounts independently up to finalization.
- Thorough knowledge of UAE VAT filing and compliance.
- Excellent proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Sound understanding of:
- Financial Statements
- Depreciation Accounting
- Cash Flow Management
- Costing and Cost Analysis
- General Ledger and Reconciliations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
