Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
The role also involves preparing financial reports and presenting insights to management and stakeholders to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft).
- Support month-end/year-end close, audits, tax filings, and financial reporting.
- Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of Senior Accountant experience in the real estate development industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CMA or CPA certification is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Pay: AED1.00 – AED2.00 per month
