Senior Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across AP, AR, GL, and tax compliance within a structured ERP environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supplier invoice processing, ensuring accurate 3-way matching (PO, GRN, Invoice)
- Review invoices for compliance with company policies and ZATCA requirements, ensuring timely vendor payments and reconciliations
- Record and monitor advances, accruals, and prepayments, ensuring proper period alignment
- Manage customer invoicing, ensuring alignment with contracts and agreed terms
- Monitor collections and implement effective follow-up procedures for overdue receivables, including AR reconciliations
- Coordinate with retail outlets to ensure timely and accurate monthly sales and inventory reporting, and reconcile with accounting records
- Maintain and monitor the fixed asset register, including monthly depreciation and general ledger accuracy with timely reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of financial statements and audit requirements
- Prepare and file VAT and WHT returns, ensuring compliance with ZATCA regulations
- Coordinate with banks on payments, reconciliations, and treasury activities
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions
- Support day-to-day operational finance activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of ZATCA regulations (VAT, WHT, Zakat)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion (Odoo exposure is a plus)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
- Fluent in Arabic and English (Arabic is mandatory)
