Job Description
Keeps the Assistant Security Manager/Director Of Security informed of all security related matters. Depending on distribution of Fire, Security responsibility coordinates with the Director of Engineering in this matter.
Liaises with Management personnel and all employees and assists with security problems and loss control.
Liaises with local law enforcement and Fire & Safety officials.
Maintains proper grooming at all times.
Attends training classes as per schedule.
Shows fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments.
Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities.
Trains Security employees in all Resort regulations and all factors affecting the operations of the Resort, including fire prevention, safety procedures, basic firefighting, life-saving techniques, preservation of crime scene and evidence, actions, duties, and powers where crime is detected, actions in crisis situations, report writing, public relations, and psychology.
Supervises the daily processing and distribution of security reports to Management.
Keeps all records and reports concerning security matters and Resort business confidential.
Is fully trained and prepared for all emergency situations as per procedures.
Continuously evaluates possible threats to Security.
In coordination with the engineering department, conducts regular preventive maintenance of all safety equipment.
Supervises that all employees lock in with the proximity card reader at the staff entrance security post.
Controls access of contractors, visitors, and suppliers, issuing and controlling visitor passes.
Supervises all security posts, including CCTV room, regularly.
Ensures staff are familiar with the Resort’s emergency procedures and are prepared for any emergency.
Executes regular/technical skills training, including live fire drills.
Reviews Duty Manager/Night Manager logs daily and takes corrective actions as needed.
Reviews Security logbook daily and informs Security Manager of issues.
Maintains a monthly overview of security staff’s vacation and public holiday balances.
Familiarizes with relevant company documentation and updates the emergency manual as needed.
Conducts skills/technical training within his/her responsibility area regularly.
Qualifications
University Degree in any field. Minimum 2 years in a similar role within a five-star hotel. Team management skills, computer skills, and excellent communication skills.
