The Role
The Security Operations Engineer (Sec Ops) will work within our IT Operations team and be responsible for ensuring myZoi has a world class approach to security. This role requires a deep understanding of security practices, a proactive approach to threat detection and mitigation, and the ability to work closely with IT and operations teams to maintain a secure infrastructure and work environment.
The candidate will help maintain and enhance a secure environment that empowers our exceptional employees, contributing to the creation of an exemplary IT ecosystem where our company can thrive and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls
- Manage security tools and technologies to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents
- Continuously monitor operational environments for security threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalies
- Respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Secure cloud infrastructure by advising best practices for network security, identity and access management, and data protection
- Work with IT and development teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities
- Ensure compliance with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements across all operational environments
- Develop and implement automated security solutions to enhance threat detection, incident response, and compliance monitoring
- Utilize scripting and automation tools to streamline security operations and improve efficiency
- Communicate security risks, incidents, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Define and implement Continuous improvement initiatives

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field
- At least 2 years of experience IT and/or Cloud based Security
- Hands‑on experience with security monitoring tools
- Experience in identifying and remediating security issues
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex technical issues
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Desirable:
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for security automation
