Job Overview:
We’re looking for a hands-on SOC Manager to lead our Central Monitoring Station in Dubai. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing a team of monitoring agents, overseeing daily operations, and making sure our clients in the US receive prompt and professional service.
What You’ll Do:
- Recruit, hire, and onboard Central Station Monitoring Agents
- Train new agents on video monitoring, alarm response, client communication, report writing, and use of our command center platform
- Oversee daily monitoring operations, including shift scheduling, performance management, and workflow coordination
- Review incident reports, logs, and communications for accuracy and completeness
- Lead the team during emergencies and high-pressure situations, ensuring calm and effective responses
- Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to company standards and client requirements
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and make sure agents follow them
- Handle escalated incidents, client concerns, and technical issues
- Monitor equipment and software health, working with IT and vendors as needed
- Build and support a positive, professional team culture focused on strong customer service
- Regularly audit operations for compliance, accuracy, and efficiency
- Communicate with company leadership about trends, recurring issues, staffing needs, and operational improvements
- Stay current with best practices in video monitoring, dispatch, and security technology
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing a security operations center, monitoring station, dispatch center, or similar environment
- Experience hiring, developing, and supervising staff, ideally in a security or call center setting
- Strong understanding of video surveillance, alarm systems, and dispatch procedures
- Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written
- Leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Experience handling emergencies and guiding a team under pressure
- Experience writing and reviewing incident and executive-level reports
- Proficient with monitoring software, Microsoft Office, and web browsers
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Willing and able to work night shifts, weekends, and adjust to US time zones as needed
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AI-based security platforms
- Background in law enforcement, military, or emergency dispatch
- IT security or technical troubleshooting experience
Working Conditions:
- On-site, indoor position at our Dubai Central Monitoring Station
- Shifts may include nights, weekends, and align with US client needs
- Fast-paced, team-oriented office environment
