We are looking for an experienced Security Manager to join our project in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
Security Planning & Risk Management
- Develop and implement site-specific security plans.
- Conduct regular risk assessments for theft, sabotage, and emergency situations.
- Prepare emergency response and contingency plans.
Access Control & Surveillance
- Manage access control systems and visitor protocols.
- Oversee CCTV monitoring, perimeter security, and access/egress points.
- Ensure security checkpoints are staffed and operational.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to local laws, company policies, and international security standards.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections.
- Conducted continuous improvements on systems and processes.
Personnel Safety & Training
- Conduct security awareness training for employees and contractors.
- Provide security briefings for high-risk areas.
- Coordinate with HSE teams for integrated safety measures.
Incident Response & Investigation
- Respond promptly to security breaches and emergencies.
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and government agencies.
- Collaborate with project managers, HR, and IT for security integration.
- Assist with contracts relating to security of personnel and assets.
Asset Protection
- Safeguard equipment, locations, materials, and organizational assets.
- Advise and develop systems to enhance security of organizational assets.
- Monitor logistics and transportation for secure delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with relevance to occupational activities within the oil and gas sectors.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in security management, preferably in oil & gas or construction.
- Knowledge of local and international security regulations.
- Strong leadership and crisis management skills.
