Responsibilities
- Monitor entrance and exit points ensuring only authorized individuals enter the facility
- Supervise the flow of members, staff, and visitors to ensure security compliance
- Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies in accordance with company policies
- Act as first responder to safety or medical incidents and coordinate with appropriate emergency services when required
- File accurate incident reports for any events related to safety, theft, injury, or policy violations
- Maintain a visible, professional, and approachable presence at the entrance and around the facility
- Assist members and staff with security-related questions or issues in a courteous manner
- Work closely with facility operations, reception, and housekeeping to ensure safety across departments
- Enforce club rules and ensure compliance with health, safety, and emergency procedures
- Support the evacuation process in case of fire drills or emergencies
- Ensure members do not bring restricted items or engage in unsafe behaviors within the facility
- Cover Reception if needed or instructed by the Division Manager
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred:
Certificate in Security or Safety Management - CPR and First Aid Certification is a plus
- Fire Safety or Emergency Response Training is a plus
