Job Summary:
The FDA (Final Disbursement Account) Executive is responsible for the preparation, verification, and timely submission of the Final Disbursement Account (FDA) for vessels handled by the company. This role ensures accuracy, compliance with company policies, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Job Description & Responsibilities
* Ensure that all invoices, receipts, and supporting documents are accurately compiled and verified.
* Prepare and submit the Final Disbursement Account (FDA) within the required time frame.
* Coordinate with branch offices and travel desks for invoices and supporting documents for ship services.
* Collate invoices, verify against estimates (PDA), and prepare the Final Disbursement Account (FDA).
* Dispatch FDAs to clients via courier, email, or client portals and resolve related queries.
* Maintain records and ensure all ship services are billed in the FDA.
* Handle additional tasks as required by the department.
* Follow up with port agents and suppliers for any pending invoices or supporting documents.
-Communicate with ship owners and charterers regarding any queries related to FDA.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
* Knowledge of port disbursements and financial reconciliation is an advantage
– Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
– Prior experience in shipping, logistics, or port agency operations is preferred
