Security and Risk Consultant Jobs in Doha at Holding Group
We are looking for a Security and Risk Consultant to help organizations identify, assess, and manage security and business risks. The successful candidate will work with clients and internal teams to develop practical security strategies, improve risk management processes, and support compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct security and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and potential business impacts.
- Develop and maintain security risk management strategies and frameworks.
- Advise clients on information security, cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance matters.
- Identify security gaps and recommend appropriate mitigation and remediation measures.
- Support security audits, assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Develop risk registers, security policies, procedures, and assessment reports.
- Evaluate security controls and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support incident, business continuity, and crisis management planning.
- Monitor emerging security threats, risks, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare clear reports and presentations for management and clients.
- Work closely with technical, operational, and business stakeholders to implement risk reduction initiatives.
- Support security awareness and risk management programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, IT, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in security consulting, cybersecurity, information security, risk management, or GRC.
- Strong understanding of security risk assessment and security governance principles.
- Knowledge of frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, COBIT, or similar.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Consulting or client-facing experience is an advantage.
