We are looking for a Documentation Clerk to join our team and support our logistics operations with efficient and accurate document management.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Documentation Clerk to handle all shipping and trade-related paperwork. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all documents related to imports, exports, and customs clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and verify shipping documents, including invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
Ensure all documentation complies with UAE customs regulations and international trade laws.
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth document processing.
Maintain digital and physical records of shipments and trade transactions for audit and compliance purposes.
Assist in tracking shipments and communicating with logistics teams regarding documentation status.
Handle any discrepancies in documents and liaise with relevant authorities to resolve issues.
Support the logistics and finance teams in preparing reports and documentation for internal use.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in documentation, logistics, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, shipping documentation, and customs clearance processes.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ERP/logistics software is an advantage.
Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
