About the role
Join our dynamic international education environment, where you will deliver a bespoke curriculum based on the English National Curriculum, preparing students for external examinations at IGSCE level and beyond. About you
You will create a learning culture in your classroom where students are supported, challenged, and inspired to be the best they can be. Your excellent motivation and communication skills enable the creation of an energetic, exciting, and personally invested classroom environment.
Inclusive EAL support and active development of language, literacy, and communication fluency is expected.
Planning adaptability and an educational philosophy enabling teaching of students with varied prior achievement and supporting individualised targets will be required.
You will promote your subject within and beyond the classroom, seek enrichment opportunities, contribute to after‑school ECA programmes, and engage with the wider school community.
Receptive to feedback, you will share best practice with colleagues and peers and develop engagement strategies for students and parents.
Essential attributes
- University degree in a relevant specialist subject
- Teaching experience in a UK and/or international context
- Strong working knowledge of the English national curriculum as relevant to your subject
- Fluent speaker of English, native or near‑native level
- Ability to meet visa‑related restrictions for Qatar, including possession of a Bachelor’s degree and a teaching qualification from a face‑to‑face (non‑online) course
Experience / Qualifications Sought
