About the Role
Deliver a bespoke curriculum built on the English National Curriculum, preparing secondary students for external examinations at IGSCE level and beyond. Challenge students to be ambitious learners, implementing innovative teaching practices to enhance their experience and outcomes.
Create a learning culture where students are supported, challenged, and inspired. Provide inclusive support to EAL students, developing language, literacy and communication within lessons. Map pathways for all learners to achieve success based on individualised targets. Promote the subject within and beyond the classroom, contributing to after‑school ECA programmes and engaging the wider school community. Share best practice, embrace change, and represent the school positively.
Qualifications
and Experience
- University degree in a relevant specialist subject
- Teaching experience in a UK and/or international context
- Strong working knowledge of the English National Curriculum for the subject
- Fluency in English (native or near‑native)
- Meet visa‑related requirements for Qatar, including possession of a Bachelor’s degree and a teaching qualification from a face‑to‑face course
Desirable
- Masters’ degree or evidence of further professional development
