Role Description The SEC Approved WPR C2 will oversee and coordinate all work permit activities for Saudi Electricity Company–related projects to ensure compliance with SEC standards and safety regulations. This full-time, on-site role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves daily interaction with project managers, site engineers, safety officers, and client representatives. Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and validating work permit requests, ensuring all technical documentation and safety requirements are in place before work begins. The role also includes monitoring permit status, updating records, and ensuring timely renewals or closures of permits. The SEC Approved WPR C2 will support site inspections, participate in toolbox talks when required, and help resolve permit-related issues to avoid delays and non-compliance.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) work permit procedures, classifications (including C2), and related regulations.
- Experience in construction, electrical, or MEP project environments, preferably on utility or power infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of safety practices, risk assessment, and hazard control related to work permits and site activities.
- Ability to review technical documents, drawings, and method statements to verify readiness for work permit issuance.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with engineers, supervisors, safety teams, and client representatives.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records, logs, and reports for permits and compliance documentation.
- SEC-approved WPR C2 certification (or equivalent recognized approval) is required.
