Role Description The Script Supervisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The Script Supervisor will oversee continuity and accuracy of scripts across pre-production and TV or video production workflows, ensuring that all revisions are tracked and communicated to relevant stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing screenplays and shooting scripts, annotating changes, coordinating with directors and producers, and monitoring dialogue and scene details during filming to maintain narrative and visual consistency. The role involves close collaboration with production teams, assisting in scheduling script-related tasks, preparing script breakdowns, and supporting documentation for business continuity planning in production processes. The Script Supervisor will also contribute to written production materials, such as script reports and continuity logs, while adhering to established timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Screenplays and Writing, including the ability to read, analyze, and refine scripts and dialogue.
  • Candidates should possess experience in TV Production and Pre-production, with familiarity in set operations, shooting schedules, and collaborative work with directors and producers.
  • Candidates should possess capabilities in Business Continuity Planning related to production workflows, ensuring documentation and processes support smooth operational continuity.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple script versions and production documents under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly coordinate script changes among cross-functional teams; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Prior experience as a script supervisor or in a similar continuity-focused role within TV, film, or media production is highly beneficial.
