School Psychologist Jobs in Abu Dhabi at Future Centre for Special Needs
We, Future Rehabilitation Centre, are seeking a DCD-licensed Psychologist with strong expertise in psychological support services in an educational setting, along with the ability to engage effectively with parents and the multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a professional and compassionate approach, strong analytical skills to support quality assessments, and the ability to ensure the effective delivery of care for students.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the assessment team.
- Administer standardized psychological assessments to assess cognitive ability, adaptive behaviour, and social-emotional concerns, and provide appropriate recommendations and ensure all assessment reports are accurately prepared and adhere to the highest professional standards across the team.
- Provide guidance and training to teachers and parents on strategies to support student learning, behavior management, and safeguarding as necessary.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with Reyada Quality Assessment requirements.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to admissions and assessment services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology (mandatory).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Psychologist in a similar setting.
- Certificate of equivalency from the Ministry of Education, UAE
- License from the Department of Community Development (DCD), Abu Dhabi
Key Skills:
- Strong expertise in psychological testing and report writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with Reyada Quality Assessment standards (preferred).
Working hours: Monday to Thursday- 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Fridays: 7:45 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Pay: AED7,000.00 – AED8,000.00 per month
