Position: Whole School Music Teacher, COMPASS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

Compass International School Doha provides a premium British education to expatriate and Qatari families. The school operates three campuses – Al Themaid, Madinat Khalifa, and Gharaffa – offering a bespoke British curriculum from Early Years to Secondary, with options for IGSEs, AS and A levels and the IB Diploma Programme for years 12 and 13.

About

The Role

As Whole School Music Teacher you will deliver a purpose‑built curriculum based on the UK National Curriculum, preparing students for external examinations. You will create ambitious learning environments, design innovative teaching practices, and adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of international learners. The school uses the Juilliard Creative Classroom programme up to KS3 and supports high‑quality productions and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications

  • University degree in your specialist subject
  • Considerable teaching experience and knowledge of the British curriculum
  • Visa‑eligible to work in Qatar, including possession of a bachelor’s degree and a face‑to‑face teaching qualification

Essential Experience / Qualifications

  • A university degree and a teaching qualification
  • At least 5 years of teaching experience within the British curriculum
  • Proven record of successful leadership at a middle or senior level

  • Evidence of further professional development
  • Previous international teaching experience
