Role Overview:
The Hotel Travel & Tour Sales Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling tours, excursions, and experiences to hotel guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience. This role involves handling guest inquiries, coordinating bookings, and maximizing revenue through effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide guests with detailed information on available tours, excursions, and transportation services to promote and increase sales.
Actively sell and process bookings for travel experiences, ensuring monthly sales targets are met.
Handle guest inquiries, offer recommendations, and assist with special requests related to travel and tours.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all excursions and activities offered, including pricing, availability, and itineraries.
Ensure accurate and timely entry of bookings into the system and generate daily sales reports for management.
Liaise with finance for payment processing and reconciliation of cash transactions.
Work closely with external tour operators and service providers to ensure smooth guest experiences.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns, handling feedback, and assisting with on-site tour coordination if needed.
Collaborate with the hotel’s front desk, concierge, and guest relations teams to enhance guest experiences and cross-sell services.
Requirements & Skills:
Previous experience in a travel desk, destination management, or tourism sales role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of UAE destinations, attractions, and tours is an advantage.
Excellent sales and promotional skills with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapt to guest needs.
Strong organizational and communication skills to manage bookings and customer interactions.
Resilient and flexible with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
A valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED2,500.00 – AED3,000.00 per month
