Job Purpose
To support the smooth and hygienic operation of the school canteen by assisting with food preparation, serving, cleaning, and maintaining food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation and portioning as instructed.
- Serve food and drinks to students and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Keep food counters, tables, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and temperature control procedures.
- Check food items and ensure they are properly stored and labeled.
- Assist with receiving and checking food deliveries when required.
- Refill food, drinks, and other canteen items as needed.
- Follow the daily menu and instructions from the supervisor.
- Maintain good personal hygiene and wear the required uniform and PPE.
- Dispose of waste properly and keep the canteen area clean throughout the day.
- Report any food safety, equipment, stock, or cleanliness issues to the supervisor.
- Support the team during busy periods, school events, and special activities.
- Perform any other duties related to the canteen as assigned by the supervisor.

- Good communication and willingness to follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Previous food service or canteen experience is an advantage.
Main Objective
To ensure the school canteen operates cleanly, safely, efficiently, and professionally, while providing good service to students and staff.
Pay: AED340.00 – AED360.00 per week
