Scaffolding Engineer Jobs in Dubai at Luxridge Building Contracting LLC
1. BOQ & Material Take-Off: Generate accurate Quantities/Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for formwork and scaffolding components to prevent site shortages or over-stocking.
2. Cycle Planning: Create pour sequences and formwork re-use cycles to maximize asset utilization across multiple floors or site zones.
3. Cost Optimization: Evaluate rental vs. purchase options for specialized formwork equipment to optimize project cash flow.
4. Method Statements: Draft Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMS) for the erection, modification, and dismantling of formwork and scaffolding.
5. Pre-Pour & Pre-Use Inspections: Conduct rigorous site inspections prior to concrete pouring or scaffold tagging (Green/Red Tag systems) to verify installation against approved drawings.
6. Deflection & Settlement Monitoring: Inspect tie-rods, prop alignment, base plates, and jack settings under load conditions.
7. Third-Party Approvals: Coordinate with structural consultants, client engineers, and third-party safety inspectors for approval of complex temporary works schemes.
8. Site Supervision & Training: Supervise foremen, scaffolders, and formwork carpenters to ensure safe assembly procedures and proper tie-back techniques.
* Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Software Proficiency – AutoCAD (2D/3D), Formwork-specific design tools (e.g., PERI CAD, DokaCAD), STAAD.Pro, RISA, or SAP2000 for finite element analysis.
* Experience – 7+ Years
