Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Scaffolder role located in Abu Dhabi. The Scaffolder will be responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures in accordance with project plans and safety regulations. Daily tasks include interpreting drawings, selecting appropriate scaffolding materials, assembling and securing components, and performing routine inspections to ensure stability and safe access for all site personnel. The role involves working at height, collaborating closely with site supervisors and other trades, maintaining housekeeping around scaffolding areas, and reporting hazards or defects. The Scaffolder must follow all local safety standards, use fall protection equipment correctly, and participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings as required.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong scaffolding skills, including experience in erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolds in accordance with industry standards.
- Candidates should possess Working at Height and Fall Protection skills, demonstrating safe use of equipment and adherence to relevant safety procedures.
- Candidates should possess Confined Space and CSCS (or equivalent safety certification) skills to work safely in restricted areas and on regulated construction sites.
- Relevant technical or vocational training in construction or scaffolding, with valid safety certifications recognized in the UAE.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, method statements, and safety guidelines.
- Good physical fitness, manual handling capability, and awareness of site safety practices.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to follow directions and work under supervision.
- Previous experience as a Scaffolder or in a similar construction role, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
