SAP PM MAM Functional Consultant Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Accely

The SAP MAM Functional position will work with and provide support to ITBA business areas and clients using SAP- EAM/Plant Maintenance, including mobile SAP
– Work Manager a plus, participate in Capital project initiatives, be involved with other SAP Competency Center activities, such as Upgrade and Support packs testing, M&A activities, and working client enhancement requests. They will also serve as second level support for Help-line activities.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or a technical equivalent. Demonstrated related experience may be substituted for preferred education
  • 8 years’ experience developing process maps, conducting functional testing, and gathering business requirements
  • Strong business knowledge in the Plant Maintenance processes and best practices
  • Strong functional knowledge of EAM/Plant Maintenance and related business processes.
  • Familiarity with SAP
    – Work Manager (mobile), Materials/Inventory Management and Project Systems-Networks a plus.
  • Interface with Business to help manage expectations and discuss application usage
  • Demonstrated ability to research and understand customer issues
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust
  • Concern for quality; self-starter and the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience working on technology projects and have a general understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Oil and Gas industry experiences preferable

The Consultant works with customers and other consultants in the Professional Services Group to identify, specify, design, develop, and implement mobile software solutions.

  • Have strong SAP Plant Maintenance knowledge and the ability to take a business requirement from concept to completion.
  • Analyze end-to-end complex business processes and information needs for multiple business functional areas.
  • Work with client SMEs to implement quality processes, reusable tools, document templates and program guidelines
  • Provide consulting in information technology to the client to identify and satisfy the business needs and help anticipate potential problems and issues.
  • Create detailed business requirements from which technical specifications will be written
  • Develop testing scripts, execute test plans and assist the business with user acceptance testing
  • Resource should be a quick learner and self-driven; capable of meeting with business users and working cross-functionally to define requirements
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned
