SAP MM; Procurement Consultant Jobs in Doha, Qatar at BSL
Position: SAP MM (Procurement) Consultant
We are seeking a knowledgeable SAP MM (Procurement) Consultant to support and enhance Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes within our SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Materials Management, with hands‑on experience in configuring procurement and inventory processes, and integrating MM with other SAP modules. This role plays a key part in optimizing procurement operations, improving efficiency, and ensuring seamless system integration across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP MM modules, including Procurement, Inventory Management, and Vendor Management
- Implement and optimize end‑to‑end Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes
- Manage key procurement functions such as purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice verification, and vendor evaluation
- Integrate SAP MM with other modules such as SD (Sales & Distribution), FI (Finance), and WM (Warehouse Management)
- Support integration with SAP Ariba for supplier collaboration and sourcing processes
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide production support
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to procurement and inventory processes
- Prepare documentation, training materials, and conduct user training sessions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in SAP technical roles, with significant exposure to architecture responsibilities
- Deep expertise in SAP Net Weaver, ABAP development, and SAP system architecture
- Strong experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, OData services, and SAP Gateway
- Proven experience in SAP ECC to S/4
HANA migration projects (Brownfield, Greenfield, or Hybrid approaches)
- Solid understanding of integration technologies and patterns (REST, SOAP, APIs, middleware)
- Experience with SAP HANA database concepts and performance optimization
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Certifications
- SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration (SAP HANA or SAP Net Weaver)
- SAP Certified Development Specialist – ABAP for SAP HANA
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and cloud‑native architectures
- Knowledge of RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) and modern SAP development paradigms
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and transport management
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Understanding of SAP security, governance, and compliance frameworks
