6-month initial contract. Salary: SAR 22,000 plus visa & healthcare for candidate only.
My client, a huge consultancy, is looking for an SAP ABAP Technical Consultant to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance SAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and forms (RICEF) using ABAP, OOPS, and ALV.
- Design and implement Web Dynpro applications with intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Build and maintain OData services, SAP Core Data Services (CDS), and SAP Gateway models.
- Apply BADI and User Exits to extend standard SAP functionalities.
- Perform performance tuning and code optimization to ensure system efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing support during integrations and upgrades.
- Stay current with emerging SAP ABAP technologies and recommend innovative solutions for improvement.
Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development (OO ABAP, ALV, BDC, User Exits).
- Proven success in 4+ enterprise-level ABAP projects.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with OData, SAP CDS, and SAP Gateway modelling.
- Strong background supporting Supply Chain and Finance modules.
- Expertise integrating SAP with external systems (BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs).
- Additional experience with Python, Cloudera (Hadoop ecosystem), and Open Shift is a plus.
- Familiarity with Gen AI technologies and their use in enterprise systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate or work onsite as needed.
