Position: Sales Support & Application Engineer- Saudi National ONLY
The Sales Support & Application Engineer will provide support to the sales team in Saudi Arabia, including identifying and developing opportunities, particularly with government and semi-government entities and building relationships with decision makers and dealers. Work on selections, submittals, and compliance statements of projects, coordinate with product team for any special requirements or technical clarifications related to the products. Support Distributors in identifying and developing channels and opportunities.
This position will serve our MEADivision. This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Proactively identify and vet potential market opportunities through relationships with government and semi-government entities, Pro Partners, dealers and distributors, including upcoming projects and major replacement opportunities and target and win those opportunities, supporting Distributors where required.
- Develop consultant, contractor and dealer relationships (become a “trusted advisor”):
Regular meetings to build product / brand awareness, work to have the product prequalified and develop application opportunities get the products specified (include technical where required) and assist with submittals where required. - Prepare on selections, submittals, and compliance statements of projects, coordinate with product team for any special requirements or technical clarifications related to the products.
- Provide viable leads with a high-level overview of the company product portfolio, available support resources to generate continued interest with potential leads. Seek support from Regional Market Manager, Product Managers, Training Managers, Marketing and others as required.
- Educate customers on all the products and Pro Partner resources and benefits available (my Rheem access).
- Support Regional Market Managers as required to develop leads
- Scale our relationships with our existing and potential customers; be able to engage with relevancy and active listening skills.
- Provide support for customer events, training and other events.
- Successfully executing follow-through on leads.
- Effectively apply value-based sales approach.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical engineering
- Excellent professional communication skills – skills with technical knowledge.
- Data entry proficiency without defects (proofreading, spelling, and grammar checks).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment
- Adaptable to changes in priorities.
- Experience in value-based selling.
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional follow-up and professional assertiveness in a way that engages and identifies customers to want to do business with Rheem.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other web-based applications used for enterprise-grade communications such as telephony and CRM platforms.
- Self-accountability, commitment & professionalism within a business environment.
- Fluent written and spoken Arabic
HOW TO STAND OUT:
- 3+ experience in HVAC industry, preferable as an application role.
