We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the event and floral sectors, and will be responsible for driving our business forward by securing long-term contracts with corporate clients and event companies.
Job Overview:
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for targeting and engaging with event companies and corporate sectors to build and maintain strong, long-term business relationships. This position offers a fixed salary plus an attractive 10% commission on sales, providing an opportunity for significant earnings based on your performance. You will be provided with a company car and fuel to support your travel needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Target and engage with event companies, corporate sectors, and other potential clients to secure long-term contracts for our floral services.
Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities and create a pipeline of potential clients through networking, research, and outreach.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet targets, focusing on growth in the event and corporate sectors.
Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the company’s products and services, ensuring you can provide expert guidance to clients on our floral offerings.
Reporting: Track sales progress and provide regular updates to the sales manager, including forecasting and sales pipeline management.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery processes for clients.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales, particularly with event companies or within the floral business.
Strong knowledge of the floral industry and event services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client locations (company car and fuel provided).
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive business growth.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple client accounts simultaneously.
