Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based in Sharjah. The Sales Representative will identify and qualify new business opportunities with corporate, government, and brand clients in the events and exhibitions sector. Responsibilities include prospecting and outbound outreach, building and maintaining a pipeline, conducting client meetings and presentations, and preparing tailored proposals and quotations. The role involves collaborating closely with the operations and production teams to align client requirements with STEAD’s service lines and delivery capabilities. The Sales Representative will also be responsible for negotiating contracts, achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets, maintaining accurate CRM records, and representing STEAD at industry events, trade shows, and client visits.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in B2B sales, lead generation, and pipeline management within events, exhibitions, or related industries.
  • Ability to conduct client needs analysis, prepare proposals, and deliver clear, persuasive sales presentations.
  • Strong relationship-building, account management, and customer service abilities, with a focus on long-term partnerships.
  • Competence in using CRM tools, MS Office (or Google Workspace), and basic reporting for sales tracking and forecasting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • High level of self-motivation, resilience, and negotiation skills, with a results-oriented and ethical approach to selling.
  • Familiarity with the UAE events and exhibitions market and a valid UAE driving license are highly beneficial.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Events Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
