Senior Planning Engineer (ELV & Security Systems)
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer with expertise in ELV (Extra Low Voltage) and Security Systems to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a Senior Planning Engineer in the ELV & Security System domain, and will be proficient in using Primavera P6 and MS Project for project scheduling and planning. The role requires someone who can handle pressure, work hard, and join immediately. Additionally, the candidate must be willing to undergo 1-2 days of practical planning tools training.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project for ELV and security systems projects.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish project timelines, objectives, and deliverables.
Monitor and update project progress, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Perform critical path analysis and resource allocation to ensure projects stay on track and meet milestones.
Prepare and present regular progress reports and status updates to senior management and clients.
Manage project documentation and ensure all project changes, schedules, and updates are accurately recorded.
Assist in the management of resources, procurement, and vendor coordination to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and client specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project risks, identifying and proposing solutions to mitigate potential issues that could affect project delivery or costs.
Provide support to junior planning engineers and assist in the development of their technical skills.
Assist with the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and other financial documentation related to the projects.
Attend regular client and internal meetings to resolve issues, provide updates, and ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Senior Planning Engineer with hands-on experience in ELV (Extra Low Voltage) and Security Systems projects.
Education: Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field.
Planning Tools: Proficient in using Primavera P6 and MS Project for planning and scheduling.
Software Skills: Proficiency in Windows applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7,000.00 – AED9,000.00 per month
