Job Overview: Italco Interiors is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator with an engineering background, specializing in joinery and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in the UAE and will ensure the seamless execution of projects by managing production, technical drawings, timelines, and costs. This role involves coordinating between clients, designers, and craftsmen to deliver high-quality interior solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:
Oversee joinery projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Design Coordination:
Collaborate with interior designers to understand and implement design specifications for joinery elements.
Review and approve joinery designs, materials, and finishes to ensure they align with project requirements and design standards.
Address any design-related issues or modifications in collaboration with design teams.
Vendor and Contractor Management:
Source and liaise with joinery suppliers, contractors, and craftsmen to procure materials and services.
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of joinery components.
Monitor and evaluate vendor performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, inspect joinery work, and ensure adherence to design and quality standards.
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Address any issues or defects promptly and coordinate with relevant parties to resolve them.
Client Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or queries.
Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and final deliverables to clients and stakeholders.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Prepare and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and processing invoices.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Years of experience in project coordination, with a focus on joinery and fit out projects.
Strong understanding of joinery processes, materials, and techniques.
Proficiency in project management software and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with clients, designers, and contractors in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Mandatory UAE-based experience in joinery and fit-out project management.
Proficiency in handling technical drawings and coordinating production schedules.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Candidates with own visa or spouse visa are preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with industry standards and practices in interior fit-out and joinery projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
