Job Profile
The Sales Executive – Export role focuses on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s market presence across various industries and geographies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating export market opportunities, maintaining relationships with potential partners and clients, and collaborating with senior leadership to develop and implement effective growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in export markets to drive revenue and profitability.
Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and monitor competitor activity to uncover expansion opportunities.
Cultivate relationships with international distributors, agents, and trade partners to build long-term alliances.
Stay updated on regulatory and trade developments affecting export operations.
2. Sales Execution & Client Engagement
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, exhibitions, trade & marketing and online channels.
Conduct client meetings and needs assessments to tailor product offerings and pricing strategies.
Prepare and present business proposals, quotations, and product pitches.
Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to order confirmation and after-sales support.
3. Account Management & Customer Retention
Build and maintain strong relationships with key export clients.
Ensure timely follow-up, order processing, and client support to drive satisfaction and repeat business.
Handle high-value clients and key account relationships, ensuring smooth coordination and issue resolution.
4. Commercial Management
Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for food and FMCG product categories.
Negotiate pricing, margins, payment terms, and supply conditions to ensure profitability.
Coordinate with suppliers for product availability, shelf life, packaging, and quality compliance.
Ensure sourcing aligns with market demand, client requirements, and sales forecasts.
Monitor cost, margins, and profitability for each product/category.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, certifications, and international trade regulations.
Develop alternate sourcing strategies to manage supply risks and price fluctuations.
5. Strategy, Reporting & Coordination
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement export sales strategies.
Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback to management.
Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, finance, warehouse, documentation) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and compliance with international trade regulations.
6. Performance Monitoring & Target Achievement
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the management.
Monitor the effectiveness of business development activities and suggest strategic improvements.
Ensure alignment of sales efforts with broader company goals and operational capabilities.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
2–5 years of experience in food distribution / FMCG sales
Strong experience in Export sales
Experience in UK and Europe market is an added advantage
Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
