Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the steel fabrication sector.
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, and consultants.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
Client Management:
Conduct client meetings to understand their project requirements and provide technical solutions.
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and technical documents.
Address client inquiries and provide pre-and post-sales support.
Technical Expertise:
Provide technical advice on steel fabrication and services.
Collaborate with the design and production teams to customize solutions for client projects.
Stay updated on industry standards, materials, and fabrication techniques.
Market Research:
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
Gather feedback from clients to improve product offerings and service quality.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and client communications.
Submit regular sales and market reports to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the steel fabrication industry.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes and construction standards.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and CAD software (preferred).
Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Driving License: Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
